HIQA Reports

Cedar House is a purpose-built, single-storey residential centre for members of the Order of the Society of the Sacred Heart.
It was established in 1992 and became a voluntary company in March 2009.
It has 21 places for long-term, respite and convalescent care.

The courtyard garden is secure and safe for use by all residents. All of the gardens are landscaped, have an array of flowers and shrubs and a variety of seating areas for residents.

Car parking is provided at the front and to the side of the building for relatives and other visitors.

The centre is located in the residential suburb of Goatstown, Dublin 14, close to all local amenities and to Mount Anville convent and school where many of the religious sisters previously lived and taught.

Irish Nursing Homes in Ireland and Our Irish Health System

Leadership comes in many guises. True leadership must have at its core an integrity and a heart.
We expect our Irish Health System, acting as a leader, guide and mentor,
to look to it's people with an outstretched hand.

It should assist and support in every way possible and together we will achieve those very high goals we all deserve

We must always strive for a better health and overall care for everyone.
We must continually challenge our standards of safety and the quality of our health services
