Raheny Community Nursing Unit is a new purpose built public unit with capacity for 100 residents.

The centre is built on the grounds of the existing St Joseph’s Hospital on an 11 acre secure site.

The centre is divided into four units; each unit is named and are: Fuschia and Bracken on the basement floor and Heather and Clover on the ground floor.

Each unit contains 17 single bedrooms, two twin and one four bedded, all with shower /toilet en suite.

All bedrooms look out onto the garden areas. They are all above the recommended size and have adequate storage space including a wardrobe with a lockable drawer.

The centre is secured with keypad access and CCTV on all entrances/exits which are linked to 16 monitors in a secured room.

The grounds of the centre are landscaped with a mix of mature and new shrubberies trees, internal terraced courtyards and paved walking areas.

There is ample car parking with 49 spaces provided.

The site is secured with fencing around the perimeter and three entrance/exit gates.

Raheny Community Nursing Unit is located in Raheny village approximately five miles from Dublin city centre.
The centre is serviced by several city bus routes and is a short walk from Raheny light rail station
