Located on the outskirts of Tullamore on the Birr road, Carthage Nursing Home is the centre of a community village called Mucklagh.

Carthage Private Nursing Home is a purpose built nursing home with accommodation for 67 residents.
They provide both private and semi private accommodation.

The nursing home provides care for long stay, convalescent, respite and post operative persons.
