Strawhall Nursing Home was established in 1988 by the late Edmund Rice incorporating his family home at "Strawhall House".
The home is still run by the Rice family today.

This 27 bed home is set in mature gardens with quiet, pleasant surroundings offering rural views of Corrin and the Comeragh mountains.

The home provides modern standards while retaining many of its original features and its homely athmosphere.

Strawhall embraces the challenges of today while cherishing times past.

They not only cater for their present generation but also future generations by using renewable energy, comprising of solar panels and a wood chip boiler.

A friendly welcome awaits all visitors who wish to come and see the home.
