Hiqa Reports:

St Martha's Nursing Home is a family owned and managed residential care centre that provides for long-term and respite care needs.

The centre was originally a domestic dwelling and this original two-storey structure remains intact, but has been extended so that the facility now provides accommodation for 22 residents.

Following the recent construction works, the external grounds have been restored to a good standard.

There is a large secure grassed area with mature shrubbery to the rear of the building with circulation areas and seating.

Some seating is also available to the front of the building which faces the Galtee mountains and the Glen of Aherlow.

St Martha’s Nursing Home is situated in a rural location at the foot of the Galtee mountains approximately five miles from the village of Bansha and four miles from Cahir town.

Leadership comes in many guises. True leadership must have at its core an integrity and a heart.
We expect our Irish Health System, acting as a leader, guide and mentor,
to look to it's people with an outstretched hand.

It should assist and support in every way possible and together we will achieve those very high goals we all deserve

We must always strive for a better health and overall care for everyone.
We must continually challenge our standards of safety and the quality of our health services
