At St Joseph's Nursing Home they offer a friendly home from home atmosphere to their residents in their recently renovated facility.
The nursing home is in a very scenic setting surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens on the banks of Lough Ramor near the town of Virginia, Co. Cavan.

They have 52 beds available in both single and twin bedded rooms many of which have panoramic views over the gently rolling hills of the surrounding countryside as well as over Lough Ramor whose gentle waters add an air of tranquility to their location.

St. Joseph’s can offer a range of care options available from respite, convalesence and long term residential care up to and including high dependency and dementia care.

They have a range of activities available for those residents that wish to partake in order to help keep their joints supple and their minds active.
These activities include regular trips outside the nursing home to local places of interest. Recent trips include a visit to the famous Loughcrew Gardens and also to The Ramor Theatre in Virginia.

St. Joseph’s nursing and care staff are fully trained and members of staff regularly attend specialist training courses in order to keep their skill levels up to date and comply with the latest HIQA standards.

Through their professional catering staff they can offer a variety of menu options in order to satisfy special dietary requirements.
