The Little Sisters of the Poor is an International Religious Congregation who dedicate their lives to caring for the Elderly.

On the first floor are residents. accommodation, two lounges, two dining rooms, and a hairdressing salon. The second floor comprises of residents. accommodation, two lounges and two sitting rooms.
The third floor is dedicated accommodation for the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Attached to the Nursing Home are 22 Apartments for the Elderly seeking to live independently while at the same time being part of a secure community.

The gardens are landscaped with plenty of seated areas. There is also an inner courtyard for residents. use and there is ample car parking available.

A Luncheon Club for the Elderly operates seven days a week
St Joseph.s Home is situated on an elevated site overlooking Waterford city and the River Suir.
