The existing Holy Ghost Residential Home is a 1970’s single-storey, quadrangle structure.

It has well maintained surrounding gardens with a pleasant secure internal garden.

The centre provides a 60-bedded residential centre for older adults, providing a service of supported self care only.

The centre is located in a quiet built up area of Waterford City.
It is close to local amenities such as shops, banks, church and restaurants.

Irish Nursing Homes in Ireland and Our Irish Health System

Leadership comes in many guises. True leadership must have at its core an integrity and a heart.
We expect our Irish Health System, acting as a leader, guide and mentor,
to look to it's people with an outstretched hand.

It should assist and support in every way possible and together we will achieve those very high goals we all deserve

We must always strive for a better health and overall care for everyone.
We must continually challenge our standards of safety and the quality of our health services
